About us:
Our company is a spin-off from KTH (Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden) and supplies highly-efficient frequency conversion units (FCUs) based on engineered nonlinear optical crystals tailored for new and traditional laser markets. We offer unique products, including large-aperture and short-periodicity crystals that have no counter-parts in the market, with customers both in industry and academia. Our know-how in fabrication has been built up with more than 20 years of research at KTH and our FCUs have been used in many labs worldwide.Our services range from providing off-the-shelf standard FCUs to complete solutions including custom-made designs, fabrication and packaging.Compared to other available techniques, we provide the highest efficiency and largest flexibility, and very importantly the option to tailor the spectral properties of the generated light to your needs.

Carlota Canalias, CEO:
Dr. Carlota Canalias is the executive director of Tailored Photons AB. She manages the sales and marketing activities within the company. She holds a PhD from KTH, and has over 15 years of experience in nonlinear optics and materials development. Carlota is a co-founder of Tailored Photons AB and holds a docent position at KTH.
Andrius Zukauskas, CTO:
Dr. Andrius Zukauskas is the Vice-President of Tailored Photons AB and is leading the research and development of PPKTP isomorphs. Andrius holds a PhD degree from the Royal Institute of Technology – KTH, and has over 10 years of experience in nonlinear optics and lasers development. He is a co-founder of Tailored Photons AB and also holds a researcher position at the Royal Institute of Technology – KTH.
Valdas Pasiskevicius, Partner:
Dr. Valdas Pasiskevicius is the non-executive director at Tailored Photons AB. Valdas is a distinguished professor of laser physics, nonlinear optics and photonics at the Royal Institute of Technology – KTH. He is also a co-founder of several photonics companies, including Tailored Photons AB.
Fredrik Laurell, Partner:
Dr. Fredrik Laurell is professor in physics at KTH and chairman of the board. He works with cross-disciplinary photonics exploiting contemporary laser technology. Over the years he has been the co-founder of six photonics companies, including Tailored Photons AB.
Vanesa Indriago, Administrator:
Vanesa leads the administrative activities within Tailored Photons AB.
